On the afternoon of March 18, Lee Suk-won, Vice President of AJOU University in South Korea, and his delegation visited Wuxi Institute of Technology (WXIT). WXIT Vice President Qiang Weigang and relevant staff in charge of the International Affairs Department attended the discussion.
First, on behalf of WXIT, Qiang Weigang welcomed the delegation of AJOU University of South Korea and said that China and South Korea are geographically close and culturally compatible. It is a broad space for cooperation and exchanges in the field of education. WXIT has been committed to collaboration on international education and programs. We hope that this visit will be an opportunity to deepen the cooperation between the two universities in talent cultivation, teacher and student exchanges. Afterwards, the director from international exchange and cooperation office Zhang Xiaoming introduced the internationalization of WXIT from the perspective of Chinese-foreign cooperative programs and institution, cultivation of international students, and foreign branch department. He hoped that we could cooperate with AJOU University in the future. He hoped to explore more cooperation modes with AJOU University in Korea and realize mutual benefits in the future.
Mr. Lee Suk-won, Vice President of AJOU University of Korea, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of WXIT and highly praised the achievements and international influence. He said that AJOU University of Korea has been committed to cultivating excellent talents with international vision, and he expects that the two universities can strengthen communication and cooperation in the future in the areas of educational program and joint scientific research projects. Finally, Lee Suk-won signed a memorandum of cooperation on behalf of AJOU University.
