On November 8th, the fourth Conference of China-Thailand Vocational and technical Education cooperation 210 Project was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Thailand's Minister of Education Permpong Chijob, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand education Counselor Xu Lan attended the conference. WXIT won the 2023-2024 Outstanding Contribution Award for International Cooperation in Vocational and Technical Education between China and Thailand issued by the Ministry of Education of Thailand.
During the meeting, Xu Lan said that the launch of 210 Project of Sino-Thai vocational and technical education cooperation is a specific measure in response to the Thailand 4.0 strategy, the construction of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and the Belt and Road initiative proposed by China. It is an important strategy that provides a good model for digitization and international cooperation in environmental protection.
In his speech, General Permphorn Chijob summarized the importance and achievements of the cooperation between China and Thailand in the field of vocational education. He expressed the commitment to deepen the bilateral cooperation in education, especially in the field of vocational education under the China-Thailand Project 210 on behalf of the Thai Ministry of Education.
Based on the cooperation in varied fields, the Sino-Thailand project not only contributes to the modernization of vocational education in Thailand, but also promotes friendly relations between China and Thailand, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation and development between the two countries.
WXIT was awarded the Sino-Thai Vocational and Technical Education International Cooperation Outstanding Contribution Award in the fourth conference. Vocational education should be inclusive, industry-oriented, innovative, intelligent and international, the leader participant of WXIT said during his speech at the conference. China will advance vocational education through high-quality reform and the integration of industry and education.
