On November 15, Kenya and Nepal education delegation consists of 9 president representatives visited Wuxi Instituste of Technology (WXIT). WXIT Vice President Wu Huiyuan and relevant staff in charge of international exchange and cooperation department participated in the reception.
WXIT Vice President Wu Huiyuan welcomed the arrival of the delegation and made a brief introduction of WXIT focusing on the cooperation between college and local enterprises in the filed of intelligent manufacturing industry. She emphasized the importance of vocational education in serving the development of local economy in her speech. Afterwards, Zhang Xiaoming, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, introduced the running and achievements of WXIT from the aspects of international exchanges, educational program of international students as well as sino-foreign institution.
Mr. Ramesh, the president representative of colleges in Nepal, and Ms. Josyline, the president representative of the colleges in Kenya, expressed their gratitude for the warm reception of WXIT, affirmed the broad prospects of international vocational education cooperation, and indicated that they would carry out more in-depth cooperation with WXIT in the future especially in training of international students, overseas Chinese teaching, technical skills training and other majors. Dr. Josyline signed a memorandum of cooperation with WXIT on behalf of Skave Vocational College in Kenya.
After the meeting, the delegation visited WXIT intelligent manufacturing Engineering Center, mechanical manufacturing engineering training center, internet of things training center, automotive training center and other places to learn about the development of WXIT in key discipline construction and talent training.
