On the morning of November 12, Andi Lukman, the Director General of Education Department of Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, led a 48-member delegation from 22 Indonesian universities visiting Wuxi Institute of Technology (WXIT). WXIT President Zhou Guijin, Vice President Wu Huiyuan and heads of relevant departments such as International Exchange and Cooperation Office participated in the reception, and the meeting was chaired by WXIT Vice President Wu Huiyuan.
Firstly, WXIT President Zhou Guijin welcomed the Indonesian delegation and introduced the exchanges and cooperation with Indonesian universities and enterprises. Subsequently, Zhang Xiaoming, WXIT Dean of School of International education, made an introduction about international exchanges and cooperation of WXIT including cooperative programs as well as international students education.
Andi Lukman, the Director General of Educational Department of Sulaweisi Province said that the educational cooperation between China and Indonesia would have broad prospects, and he hoped that more Indonesian universities and WXIT would carry out more in-depth cooperation in international cooperation and exchanges. After that, representatives of Indonesian universities such as Universitas Bosowa and Universitas Sulawesi Tenggara also made speeches respectively.
The Department of Education of Sulawesi Province in Indonesia as well as 10 Indonesia universities including Universitas Islam Negeri Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UINSSC) and Universitas Sawerigading Makassar, signed a memorandum of cooperation with WXIT respectively. The delegation also visited WXIT intelligent manufacturing engineering center, mechanical manufacturing engineering center and other training sites to learn about the development of the construction of training room and the integration of production and education.
