From October 8th to 23rd, WXIT School of International Education welcomed 91 international students as well as teachers from 4 schools in Thailand, and they embarked on a captivating journey of Wu culture in WXIT. There has been an influx of international students on China’s higher education institution, and more and more students are attracted by varied cultural experience activities.
Zhang Xiaoming, the dean of school of international education, Jiang Hong cheng, vice dean of school of international education, as well as Li Xiang, party secretary of school of international education warmly welcomed Thailand student team and hoped they would have a pleasant cultural experience in Wuxi.
The purpose of their visit was to immerse international students in “Wu Culture” of Jiangsu province. They participated in a range of engaging activities, including visit to exhibition hall, cultural activity workshops and bilingual guided tours. Through these profound experiences, they gained a profound appreciation of China’s heritage, which spans an impressive five millennia.
