On the afternoon of July 16, Siemens (China) Co., Ltd and WXIT signed the Cooperation Agreement on Jointly Establishing Digital Twin Technology Industrial Institute in conference room F201 of the multi-purpose teaching building.
Yang Xiening, senior vice president of Siemens Digital Industries, Yao Lifeng, Sales Director of Southern Jiangsu Region, Zhu Zhenzhong, General Manager of Automation Department of Digital Services, leaders of Education and Training Department, attended the signing ceremony. President Gong Fanghong, Vice President Wu Huiyuan, chiefs and deans from Science and Technology Industry Department, Mechanical Technology School and other departments of WXIT joined the ceremony.
President Gong Fanghong and Vice President Yang Xiening signed the Strategic Partnership Agreement on Jointly Establishing Digital Twin Technology Industrial Institute. Leaders from Siemens also visited the intelligent manufacturing engineering center and the training center of mechanical technology school. Vice President Yang highly praised our technology-led approach in serving the industries and expressed his confidence in vocational education cooperation under the background of intelligent manufacturing.
Digital twin is proposed and promoted by Siemens, which helps enterprises accelerate the full lifecycle management of products. Siemens (China) will take the project of Digital Twin Technology Industrial Institute as a new starting point, build long-term partnership with WXIT and enhance the quality of vocational education. By promoting the integration of industries, colleges and researches, we will build a model for vocational education with distinctive features, and an industrial platform and center of high-end manufacturing in southern Jiangsu.
