On the morning of August 24, organized by the School of Finance and Economics of WXIT, the 2020 Jiangsu National Training Project of Theory and Practice Australian Vocational Education kicked off. 65 leading teachers from over 30 vocational colleges attended the training seminar.
Party Secretary Zhu Aisheng, Executive President Matthew Trounce of Australian IVET Group, Manager Brendon Stringer of Queensland State of IVET, Party Secretary Wu Mingfang of Vice Dean Zhao Shuang, Vice Party Secretary Xu Jin and teachers of the School of Finance and Economics attended the opening ceremony.
Party Secretary Zhu Aisheng emphasized the significance of this training class and introduced the achievements WXIT has made in talent training quality, staff building, educational internationalization, featured school running and serving regional economic development. Meanwhile, he laid out requirements for all the attendees, hoping that everyone could cherish this opportunity, comply with the training rules, and learn something from it. For the organizer, the School of Finance and Economics, he required more communication with the attendees so as to offer better services to meet their needs.
Executive President Matthew Trounce of IVET sent his greetings to the attendees via video link. He hoped to share the advantages of Australian vocational education and training system and offer a channel for better understanding towards the theory and practice of Australian vocational education.
This training class will last 2 weeks, with foreign teachers from IVET and Chinese professors working together on the training. Through expert lectures, exchange activities, group discussions and presentations, attendees will learn the teaching philosophy of Australian vocational education and get to know the latest development and future trend of international vocational education. By doing so, all attendees are expected to grasp the teaching pattern of international vocational education, enhance the teaching capability and professional skills, as well as the vision and quality of international vocational education.
