On April 9, the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Foreign Student Education Management Research Committee of Higher Education Association of Jiangsu Province was held in Changzhou. Wang Chengbin, Deputy Director of Department of Education of Jiangsu Province, Xu Shoukun, Vice President of Changzhou University, Xu Weiya, Vice President of Hehai University, and He Xingchu, Dean of the Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Office in Department of Education of Jiangsu Province attended this annual meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting was hosted by Yu Xiaonan, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Student Education Management Research Committee.
WXIT was awarded as the “International Student Education Advanced Collective of Jiangsu Province for the third time. Zhu Wenda, Xie Mingming and Sun Taiwei were respectively awarded as the Outstanding International Student Counselor of Jiangsu Province , Foreign Student Education Management Advanced Individual of Jiangsu Province , and Foreign Student Education Management Advanced Individual Fighting Covid-19 of Jiangsu Province . WXIT has won all the collective and individual awards in this annual meeting.
At the meeting, WXIT shared experiences of the education of international students in China with other colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province. WXIT also delivered a speech entitled In-depth Integration of Industry and Education, College-University-Enterprise International Cooperation: Innovative Construction and Development of the Capacity Chain for International Students in Higher Vocational Education, which received praise from all the participants.
In 2020, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Department of Education of Jiangsu Province, WXIT has been strictly implementing epidemic prevention and control, comprehensively promoting the quality and efficiency in education, attaching great importance to the management of international students, continuously optimizing the work system, and continuing to improve work standards.
