On November 26, a delegation from Haid Group Co., Ltd. conducted an official visit to WXUT. The delegation was led by Yang Jingyong, Head of Human Resources, and included Li Kang, Head of Production for the Indonesian Region. The visit was hosted by Secretary of the Party Committee Gong Fanghong, with participation from officials of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and the School of Control Engineering.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding international talent development and school-enterprise resource integration, resulting in multiple strategic consensus and the formal execution of a cooperation agreement. This partnership establishes an innovative vocational education model characterized by industry-education integration and enterprise-oriented globalization initiatives.
Secretary Gong Fanghong emphasized WXUT’s commitment to industrial development service, highlighting its specialized curriculum aligned with advanced manufacturing sectors and extensive experience in international education programs. He noted the establishment of long-term cooperative relationships with educational institutions and Chinese enterprises in Indonesia.
Secretary Gong proposed three strategic focus areas for collaboration: customized training programs for Indonesian students, joint development of overseas training facilities, and establishment of dedicated talent supply channels. He underscored the importance of pragmatic collaboration to cultivate technically proficient professionals capable of supporting Haid Group's overseas operations.
Yang Jingyong acknowledged WXUT’s educational excellence and aligned talent development strategies with Haid Group's global business expansion, particularly in the Indonesian market. He emphasized the critical need for localized talents both technical expertise and cross-cultural communication capabilities, noting strong alignment with the university's educational objectives.
Mr. Yang expressed expectations for collaborative development of tailored academic programs and integrated practical training modules to cultivate interdisciplinary professionals supporting overseas business requirements.
The formal cooperation agreement encompasses key provisions for order-based education, joint facility development, and direct employment pathways for international talent development.
Subsequent to the official signing, the Haid Group delegation conducted an information session with 120 international students from the School of International Education. Detailed presentations were delivered regarding overseas talent qualification standards, Indonesian operational roles, career progression frameworks, and compensation structures. The delegation confirmed preferential employment pathways and high-quality career opportunities for candidates pursuing positions within Haid Group's overseas subsidiaries.
This collaboration represents a strategic initiative aligned with the national "Belt and Road" framework, advancing the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" international talent development model. Leveraging the university's educational resources and the enterprise's global industrial platforms, the partnership aims to optimize collaborative education mechanisms, improve technical standards, and promote enterprise growth.
