WXUT achieved significant recognition at the 11th Asia Educational Equipment Expo 2025, held in Hangzhou from September 17-18. The event, co-hosted by the World Educational Equipment Federation, China Educational Equipment Industry Association, and Zhejiang Meorient Business Development Co., Ltd., featured prominent participation from our institution.
Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Mr. Jiang Hongcheng, represented WXUT at the expo's key session: "Vocational Education Panel: Asia Vocational and Technical Education and Training Seminar." The seminar focused on critical issues in Asian vocational education, including Silk Road College industry-education integration, high-quality vocational education international cooperation, ASEAN vocational education partnerships, specialized program development for regional industry needs, and China-Russia (Central Asia) vocational education collaboration.
WXUT's active engagement yielded two notable achievements: official membership in the World Skills Development Alliance, and recognition for the case study authored by International Exchange and Cooperation Office staff Zhang Xiaoming and Jiang Hongcheng, which received the "2025 Excellent Case in Vocational Education International Cooperation and Communication" award.
Through regular participation in domestic and international vocational education forums, WXUT’s International Exchange and Cooperation Office continues to track cutting-edge trends in global vocational education, while advancing the university’s internationalization efforts. These efforts strengthen its goal of becoming an internationally recognized vocational institution specializing in smart manufacturing, and contributing to the evolution of global vocational education.
