On the afternoon of December 11, an online closing ceremony for Third Phase Class of National First Batch of Practice Base Special Training for Vocational Education Teachers and Enterprises, guided by the Department of Teacher Work of the Ministry of Education, hosted by the National Academy of Education Administration and undertaken by our school, was held. Through the joint efforts of all parties involved, all the trainees who participated in this study completed their studies. Xi Maolong, vice president of our school, Cao Xiaobing, general Party branch secretary as well as Liu Quansheng, President of School of Automatic Control Technolog attended the closing ceremony presided over by Xi Maolong.

Wuhan Huazhong Numerical Control Co, Ltd., Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Chinese People’s Liberation Army No.5719 Factory made speeches as representatives. All the three enterprises noted that the three-day learning was substantial and effective. By listening to the theme reports of well-known Chinese experts, all participants deeply understood the current direction of development and characteristics of vocational education, the ways and forms of school-enterprise cooperation, and the main concerns of vocational college teachers in enterprise practice. In project design and operation, the comments and interactive exchanges of experts provided many meticulous and feasible suggestions for the design, declaration and implementation of the subsequent practice projects in the base. It is necessary to consciously integrate the training results into the work of the base, effectively strengthen school-enterprise cooperation with vocational colleges, and effectively implement the mission and responsibility to train double-position teachers needed by vocational colleges.

In his concluding speech, Xi Maolong comprehensively reviewed the relevant training courses and seminars attended by all the base trainees in the past three days, encouraged everyone to apply the new knowledge, new thinking and new methods gained from the training to complete future tasks of practice base construction, and expressed gratitude to the experts, trainees, and organizers who participated in this training activity. He also hoped to have the opportunity to meet offline in Wuxi in the future.
