On the morning of November 26, the opening ceremony of the Year 2022 Jiangsu Higher Vocational School Teacher National Training Program — Australian Vocational Education Theory and Practice Innovation Training Course, undertaken by our School of Finance and Economics was held in Wuxi both online and offline. Wu Huiyuan, Vice President of the school, Cao Dongmei, Vice Dean of School of Continuing Education, Zhao Shuang, Dean of School of Finance and Economics and 40 students from over 30 higher vocational schools in Jiangsu province attended the ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Jiang Hongcheng, Vice Dean of School of Finance and Economics.

In her speech, Wu Huiyuan introduced the historical evolution of our school and the achievements made in recent years in the developing the school, running school with characteristics, training teacher, internationalizing education, and serving regional economic development. She encouraged the students to cherish the training opportunities, abide by the training discipline, dedicate in the training, so as to gain rich knowledge. She also hoped that the organizations that undertook training services could communicate more with the students, listen to their suggestions and effectively organize training and logistic services.

On behalf of all the students, Mr. Xu Hongliang, teacher of Jiangsu Urban and Rural Construction Vocational College expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the training opportunities and thoughtful arrangements provided by our school, and hoped to further improve his comprehensive quality and professional skills and enrich the teaching strategies and education methods of international vocational education through the training course.

After the opening ceremony, Wu Huiyuan made a special report entitled Construction of the Connotation of Vocational Education.

The training will last for two weeks, and the whole process of training course is carried out online and offline simultaneously. Foreign teachers and Chinese experts and professors will jointly complete the training tasks. Through expert lectures, exchanges and interactions, group discussions, exhibition reports, students will learn and master the training concept of Australian vocational education, understand the new development and trend of international vocational education, further master the teaching rules of international vocational education, improve the teaching ability and professional level of international vocational education, and enhance the international vision and quality of vocational education.
