On the morning of July 12, organized by the School of Finance and Economics of WXIT, the 2021 Jiangsu National Training Project of Theory and Practice Australian Vocational Education kicked off. Executive President Matthew Trounce of Australian IVET Group,, Vice President Professor Wu Huiyuan, dean of the School of Finance and Economics, and another 40 attendees participated in the opening ceremony.

Jiang Hongcheng, vice dean of the School of Finance and Economics presided over the opening ceremony. Vice President Wu Huiyuan expressed welcome to all attendees on behalf of WXIT. She introduced the achievements and experience of WXIT in internationalized education, characteristic school running and the development of vocational education. Besides, she also called on all attendees to learn more about the philosophy and skills in vocational education, so as to contribute more the discipline building and talent training. She encourages communication and suggestions to help WXIT better organize and provide services for the training seminar.

Executive President Matthew Trounce of IVET sent his greetings to the attendees via video link. He hoped to share the advantages of Australian vocational education and training system and offer a channel for better understanding towards the theory and practice of Australian vocational education.

This training class will last 14 days, Through expert lectures, exchange activities, group discussions and presentations, attendees will learn the advanced philosophy of Australian vocational education and get to know the latest development and future trend of international vocational education. By doing so, all attendees are expected to grasp the teaching pattern of international vocational education, enhance the teaching capability and professional skills, as well as the vision and quality of international vocational education.
