On 19th March 2019, Head of Automation Technology Department and Director of Global Education Department from Fox Valley Technical College visited Wuxi Institute of Technology. The President of WXIT professor Gong Fang hong and faculties of School of International Education received the delegation.

WXIT President professor Gong Fang hong warmly welcomed delegation from Fox Valley Technical College and hoped the joint program between two colleges will run smoothly. Delegation from Fox Valley Technical College appreciated the hospitality from WXIT and put forward some constructive suggestions for the joint program. After that, delegation visited Intelligent Manufacturing Center, laboratories and facilities in school of Automation Technology and showed confidence in the joint program. Delegation also visited two local companies and communicated with interns. Based on the joint program, two colleges will develop the cooperation in credit transfer, student exchanging and faculty training in the future.

Founded in 1912, Fox Valley Technical College was located in the city of Appleton in Wisconsin. It is the first higher vocational college in Wisconsinand is the membership of Council of Higher Education Accreditation in the U.S. The diploma of Fox Valley is accredited by Ministry of Education in China.
