On June 23, WXIT-PCC Joint program in the major of Mechanical Engineering and Automation was successfully held in International Exchange Center. Among 62 graduates, 43 of them have got both WXIT Graduation Certificates and PCC Associate Degrees.

Over 150 students and teachers witnessed this exciting moment, including WXIT (Wuxi Institute of Technology) Vice President Mr. Hua Jian, Vice President Mrs. Gu Jing, faculties from School of Mechanical Engineering Technology and International School of Education, and two delegates from PCC (Pitt Community College). Presiding over the ceremony was WXIT Vice President Mrs. Gu Jing. Vice President of WXIT Mr. Hua Jian and Dean Dr. Dan Mayo of PCC gave speeches respectively on this commencement. Following the announcement of graduates’ names, WXIT Vice President Mr. Hua Jian and Dr. Dan Mayo issued certificates and took photos for every graduate. One item on the agenda of the ceremony was offering the special award of partnership to PCC. Different form last year’s, the ceremony this year was the ending of the joint-program with PCC. In the past 8 years of cooperation, WXIT-PCC Joint-program has been awarded as high-quality demonstration program of Jiang Su Province.

It is hope of the college, said WXIT Vice President Hua Jian, that all of graduates are leaving WXIT with skills, confidence, and tolerance.
