From April 24 to 25, the first workshop for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Branch of the Ministry Steering Committee of Cultural Quality Education in vocational colleges was held at WXIT. Professor Liu Hongyi who is president of Shenzhen Polytechnic and Director of the Steering Committee, Secretary of the Branch and the whole 15 members of the committee participated the meeting. The theme of this workshop focused on the issues of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges, explore the effective solutions to mode of “Culture-guided technician education”, and promote the innovation in connotation, mechanism and system of culture development and culture education in higher vocational colleges. This education mode will have important strategic significance in enhancing the capacity of higher vocational education to serve the development of economy and society.
